Oak Lodge Retreat is a licensed premises with food outlet so according to govenrment guidines we have no choice other than to close until further notice.
Our initial plan is to be in a 'standby' mode ready to reopen as soon as possible, along with other sites. We would estimate mid July to be that time but obviously we are subject to circumstances.
Firstly, even though your booking is non-refundable and non-transferable, rest assured, we will do our upmost best to be able to offer a solution due to the situation.
Even if you failed to take out our flexicover or do not have travel insurance, we will try to accomodate you.
It is with the deepest regret that we have no choice other than follow guidelines given to us in these unprecedented times.
We have had to put in place a temporary closure of Oak Lodge Retreat until further notice.
We are able to change your booking dates and waive all admin costs involved and remove the non-transferable clause in our T's & C's.
The safety and wellbeing of our guests and team are our absolute priority. In support of Government recommendations, we have sadly taken this hard decision to temporarily close until. We will continue to monitor the situation as it develops - please check our website for more details.
We are aiming to manage your booking in the way that suits you most. When you are ready, we’re offering all guests the option of:
1. Email us with your choice of a new date.
If your chosen date is cheaper, we will refund the difference.
If your chosen date is more expensive, you will need to pay the difference.
2. Will will assist you in making a claim through your tavel insurance company should you wish to do so.
3. DONATE-A-BREAK - if you are still unabe to visit then please donate your break to somebody on the frontline, we can arrange this for you.
4. We can issue you with a voucher to use next season.
It may take us up to 28 days to get back to you. As you can appreciate, we are experiencing a high number of calls and emails and of course we need to support our team members who we are also looking after at this time. Our goal will be to prioritise your booking over existing bookings.
We hope you understand that this decision has been made in the interest of your wellbeing and that of our team. Oak Lodge Retreat has been open for its 4th year this year, and we look forward to reopening and for us all to enjoy our holidays again for years to come.
What do I do if I want to amend my break?
All bookings and fees need to be paid in full for us to be able to amend your booking.
The quickest and easiest way to amend your break is to email us at email@example.com. When you email, for us to help you amend your break in the quickest possible time, please include:
The start date of your current break in the subject header
Your booking reference number, telephone number and include a selection of dates you would like to move to

I have a payment due soon - what should I do?
We want to assure you that looking after our guests is our number one priority and we’d like to support further by delaying our balance due date to 14 days in advance of your arrival date. Don’t worry, we’ll send you another email reminder when it’s due. Should the situation of the opening status change, we will of course be in touch straight away to let you know.
What should I do if I feel unwell on resort?
Firstly we’d like to reassure you the safety of our guests and team are our priority. As you would have seen, we have increased our cleaning procedures across our resort.

What can I do to protect myself?
Whether visiting our resorts or planning to shortly, we would ask all our guests to take the following sensible Government advice:
